EBF UK Research Office

Supporting research excellence at the Evangelical Lutheran Theological Faculty, Comenius University in Bratislava

What We Do

The Research Office serves as the faculty’s hub for research support — from identifying funding opportunities to preparing grant applications and demonstrating impact. We combine domain expertise in theology and humanities with AI-powered tools to provide research support that would otherwise require dedicated staff positions.

Funding Monitoring

Systematic tracking of relevant calls from national agencies (APVV, VEGA, KEGA), European programmes (Horizon Europe, COST, Erasmus+), regional funds (Visegrad), and denominational sources.

Grant Preparation

Support for proposal development — from project concept to budget justification. Templates, narrative CV assistance, and AI-supported writing that preserves the researcher's authentic voice.

Impact & Visibility

Helping the faculty demonstrate the societal impact of theological research — media engagement, policy influence, public theology, and creative communication of research outcomes.

Strategy →

International Network

Leveraging EBF UK's strong connections across Central Europe and beyond — from the ENLIGHT alliance to partnerships with German, Scandinavian, and American Lutheran institutions.

Network →
