Research vision
I am a practical theologian working at the intersection of pastoral care, healthcare chaplaincy, and theological-ethical reflection on situations of crisis, illness, and dying. My work seeks to make spiritual care a research-informed and clinically credible discipline within the Slovak context, in dialogue with the broader European tradition.
Practical theology is my home discipline, but I read it as a field that requires real interdisciplinary openness — palliative communication, crisis intervention, and questions of mental health belong to its core, not to its margins. My commitments are ecumenical (ENHCC, the Czech Association of Hospital Chaplains, CPCE, LWF), while my theological identity remains rooted in the Lutheran tradition.
